San Miguel is a Cuban-American artist, producer, and composer.

 

He is widely recognized as one of the foremost performers of the Cuban Tres Guitar—an iconic instrument central to Cuban music.

 

     His music represents the essence of the tropical sounds of salsa, mambo, bolero and guaracha.

     Born and raised in Bayamo, Cuba, San Miguel began his professional music studies at the age of eight. Over the years, he has earned critical acclaim, including a Grammy nomination and two Cubadisco Awards. Now based in Los Angeles, he continues to innovate with new projects, including an upcoming album that blends the sounds of 1950s Cuban salsa and mambo with modern tropical rhythms.

   San Miguel has collaborated with artists such as Óscar D' León, Andy García, Arturo Sandoval, Manu Chao, Michael Bublé and performs lead guitar with Men At Work.
